Mary Evs (B.1998) is a Toronto-based artist whose work explores identity, emotion, and the complex inner landscapes that shape human experience.

Working primarily with close-up portraits, she is drawn to the expressive power of the human face, particularly the eyes. Inspired by the belief that the eyes are a mirror of the soul, her paintings seek to capture what often remains unspoken: vulnerability, tension, longing, resilience, and moments of self-discovery.
